Amanda - Hospital Manager

With more than 26 years of experience in veterinary medicine, I am passionate about supporting exceptional patient care while fostering a collaborative, positive environment for veterinary teams and the clients they serve.

As the Hospital Manager at West Denver Veterinary Hospital & Wellness, I oversee daily operations, support team development, and work to ensure our hospital delivers compassionate, high-quality care to every patient and family who walks through our doors.

My journey in veterinary medicine began with a lifelong passion for animals and a desire to make a meaningful difference in their lives. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Louisiana State University in 2002 before continuing my education at Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology, where I received an Associate of Applied Science in Animal Technology in 2005. I am also a Registered Veterinary Technician and an active member of the Colorado Association of Veterinary Technicians.

Throughout my career, I have been committed to building strong teams through open communication, collaboration, and mutual respect. I believe that when veterinary professionals feel supported and empowered, they can provide the highest standard of care for their patients. I am dedicated to continuous learning and improvement, always seeking new ways to strengthen our hospital, support our staff, and enhance the care we provide.

Outside of the hospital, my love for animals continues at home. I share my life with Mikah, a Shepherd–Malinois mix; Nyles, my guinea pig; and Ghost, my ball python. When I'm not at work, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband and our two children, enjoying the outdoors and making the most of Colorado's beautiful scenery.

I believe veterinary medicine is more than treating animals—it's about building lasting relationships, supporting dedicated professionals, and helping pets and the people who love them live healthier, happier lives.
